Christina Aubert currently serves as the Senior Specialist for Research and Community Programs at the Translational Health Research Center.  

Christina facilitates applied research and events with Texas State University faculty, staff, and students, businesses, community members, nonprofits, and government organizations. Her background in public health enables her to support the Translational Health Research Center (THRC) in planning, leading, and facilitating translational public health research and community programs. Additionally, she helps coordinate THRC grant proposals and funded research programs and supports the THRC Faculty Fellows research program activities. In 2023, she received the Outstanding Service Award from the Texas Public Health Association for her continued contributions to the public health profession. 

Christina holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, with specific interest and previous experience in grant writing, project management, data collection, data visualization, data sustainability, rural community health, rural maternal health, and rural disaster preparedness and response. She is passionate about developing community resilience and increasing positive health outcomes.
