Prior to joining THRC, she supported grant and manuscript development at UT Health San Antonio across a range of biomedical and public health disciplines.

Kim draws on her background in public health and epidemiology to inform her approach to proposal development, building on a strong foundation in research design, methods, and population health. She is known for her structured, feedback-driven approach, emphasizing clarity, impact, and long-term sustainability.
