Get Started with Social Templates
Start by opening the template link provided by the THRC team. You might be asked to log in with your Texas State credentials. Once the template preview appears, select “Use template” so that you are working on your own editable copy rather than changing the original.
From there, personalize the design by replacing the placeholder text with your own message. Keep the wording brief and engaging, since the graphic is intended for social media. You can swap out the existing photo by clicking on it and choosing “Replace,” then upload a high-quality image that represents your work. It helps to stick with the existing layout and branding elements so the message stays consistent with THRC’s look. If you need ideas for what to write, refer to the caption examples in the toolkit.
Before you export anything, take a moment to review all details for accuracy. Confirm that names, titles, links, and hashtags are correct. Check that your photo looks crisp and is centered. A quick proofread can prevent little errors from slipping through.
Once everything looks right, find the “Share” button in the top right corner. Select “Download,” choose “PNG” as the file type for the best resolution, and make sure only the page you want is selected if the project contains multiple designs. Click “Download” and save the image somewhere easy to access.
You are then ready to post. Upload your PNG to your preferred platform, add your caption and hashtags, and remember to tag the Translational Health Research Center so we can celebrate and share your work.
