This research initiative is dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of veterans and active military personnel through community-based participatory research methods. By actively engaging veterans, service members, families, and local organizations, our goal is to co-design and implement mental health programs that address the unique needs of military communities.

Leveraging the ECHO model, our initiative connects interdisciplinary expert teams with community providers and stakeholders to create a virtual community of practice that expands access to evidence-based, culturally relevant mental health care while fostering professional connectedness, ongoing learning, and increased confidence among participants. Through this innovative approach, we are building sustainable support systems and empowering communities to deliver high-quality mental health resources that make a lasting, positive impact on veterans, service members, and their families.
