Cittlaly Escatel is the Community Health Training Program Manager at the Translational Health Research Center at Texas State University. She holds a Master's degree in Mass Communication and a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Texas State University, where she developed expertise in media strategy, public relations, and community engagement.

During her graduate studies, Cittlaly developed a strategic communication campaign titled Healing Veterans Through Nature: The Power of Outdoor Therapy. The campaign focused on supporting veterans through outdoor activities, highlighting her commitment to impactful communication and community-driven initiatives.

A proud veteran herself, Cittlaly brings a global perspective to her work, which has been shaped by her military service in countries like Djibouti and Egypt. She is passionate about bridging research and real-world impact through innovative communication initiatives.
