Lauren Lee
Research Associate
Lauren Lee is a research associate who provides support for THRC programs and activities. Her research expertise includes interpersonal communication, health communication, patient-provider communication, disclosure-decision making, and resilience processes.
Lauren is a proud third generation Bobcat who earned both her bachelor's (2016) and master's (2019) degree from the Department of Communication Studies at Texas State University. She previously supported the Translational Health Research Initiative as a graduate research assistant, and is enthusiastic about returning to the THRC team.
Currently, Lauren is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Communication at Rutgers University where her dissertation research focuses on interpersonal-health and resilience communication between partners coping with chronic and invisible illness.
