Mechanistic processes that confer suicide risk.

Background:

Dr. Megan Rogers' research focuses on short-term transdiagnostic risk factors for suicidal thoughts and behaviors, with an emphasis on cognitive-affective risks and the phenomenology, etiology, and assessment of acute suicidal crises. She is also interested in enhancing suicide risk assessment and management through indirect assessments and digital real-time interventions.

Dr. Rogers is a co-chair of the Suicide Research Symposium and an Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychology at Texas State University. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Florida State University and completed her predoctoral internship at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University in 2020.
