Background:
Dr. Sujata Mandal’s research focuses on nanotechnology-based water purification systems, water quality analysis, and synthesis of sustainable materials for energy and the environment. She is skilled in materials characterization techniques and her work has also led to four patent applications.
Dr. Mandal is a Co-Principal Investigator for multiple federal projects funded by the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Principal Investigator for several Texas State University Funded and NSF-I Corp projects.
Dr. Mandal is an Assistant Professor of Instruction at Ingram School of Engineering at Texas State University. She completed her Ph.D. in Mechanical and Energy Engineering from the University of North Texas.
