About Faculty Fellows Projects

Translational Health Research Center (THRC) aims to integrate social listening methodology into its Research Network to strengthen online events, ECHO sessions, and podcast programming. Building on its existing needs-based innovation model, this approach would analyze online conversations and audience feedback to identify relevant topics, influential speakers, collaboration opportunities, and target audiences. The goal is to develop more impactful public programming and research dissemination while exploring opportunities for academic publication.

In this H+RRN Meeting, speakers  Dr. Kirsten Sussman & Dr. Barbara Hewitt discussed how people adopt AI in health care and AI-powered social listening and engagement. This is a part of THRC's newest initiative, CARE-AI, a collaboration with the Center for Analytics and Data Science, which explores what that means for older adults and their caregivers through three lenses: mobility and access to care, smart homes and environments, and digital health adoption.
