-
Do I need to pay to get my poster printed if it is accepted for presentation at the Health Scholar Showcase?
Poster submissions in print ready format received via email by March 21, 2025 will be printed at no cost to the authors. Posters not received in print ready format by this day must be printed by the authors and received no later than March 28, 2025. -
Can I submit a poster presentation based on a study I plan to present or recently presented at an academic conference?
Yes. As a university showcase of the very best health research conducted by TXST investigators, poster presentations representing research that was/will be presented at an academic conference will be accepted for the poster session at the Health Scholar Showcase. Please indicate in the submission email whether you already have a printed poster from the project that you intend to present.
-
Can students submit poster presentations?
Faculty may submit research conducted with student co-authors, but the faculty member must present the poster at the Health Scholar Showcase. This is a faculty research showcase, so we kindly ask that students do not present the poster.
-
Can I be a co-author on more than one poster submitted for the poster session at the Health Scholar Showcase?
Each TXST faculty member may submit up to two academic posters for presentation at the Health Scholar Showcase. Only one poster per research project and one poster from the same group of co-authors should be submitted. Each poster accepted for presentation must have a different designated presenter who will be at the Health Scholar Showcase during the poster session.
