Mental Health Community Collaborative (MHCC)
ABOUT THE SERIES
Central Texas, from North Austin to San Antonio, is facing significant mental health challenges, often leaving residents without the care they need. In response, we launched the Mental Health Community Collaborative (MHCC).

Through a virtual community of practice, MHCC seeks to engage Texans in meaningful conversations and work collectively to tackle these challenges.

Series Background
In the summer of 2024, we launched an initiative to identify the core challenges impacting mental health in Central Texas. We assembled an Advisory Group of local mental health professionals to help seek these core issues and create a plan to quickly address the challenges in our region.
Based on issues identified by the group, THRC is hosting this year-long Mental Health Community Collaborative virtual learning network using the ECHO model to bring awareness to these issues and provide a space for connection and collaboration in order to enhance mental health.
MENTAL HEALTH ADVISORY BOARD
Our advisory board worked collaboratively with us to identify the core issues impacting mental health and developed a strategic plan to quickly address these challenges in our region.
