Understanding Indicators of Mental Health
ABOUT THE SERIES
Understanding Indicators of Mental Health (UIMH) is a Virtual Learning Network that connects researchers, subject matter experts, and advocates to foster collaboration and share evidence-based knowledge. Presented by the THRC Interdisciplinary Working Group for Mental Health, Substance Use, and Suicide Risk and Prevention, this group includes Texas State University faculty who lead groundbreaking research and seek grant funding from federal and foundation health agencies for their mental health-related projects.
UIMH is part of THRC's mission to promote healthy, resilient communities through interdisciplinary research. This series will raise awareness and build practical skills around mental health issues like substance use and suicide risk. By equipping participants with innovative knowledge, UIMH aims to improve outcomes for at-risk populations.
