Health Scholar Showcase

This year's theme celebrates a decade of collaboration, connection, and impact at Texas State University. For ten years, Health Scholar Showcase has served as a central connector for interdisciplinary health research, bringing people, ideas, and partners together. This milestone honors the strong foundation built through research teams and networks while looking ahead to new frontiers made possible by collaboration across disciplines, communities, and institutions.

Each year, we feature a distinguished keynote speaker who is a pioneer in their specialty, offering profound insights and resources in cutting-edge research that aligns with the Health Scholar Showcase theme of the year. Keynote speakers provide attendees with actionable insights and a deeper understanding of the current trends and future directions in health. This year's speaker is Dr. Noshir Contractor, Jane S. & William J. White Professor of Behavioral Sciences in the McCormick School of Engineering & Applied Science, the School of Communication and the Kellogg School of Management and Director of the Science of Networks in Communities (SONIC) Research Group at Northwestern University. He is the Executive Director of the Web Science Trust (WST)and a past President of the International Communication Association (ICA).
