The Translational Health Research Center advances and shares research to foster healthy and resilient people and places.

We fulfill this mission through cutting-edge research partnerships with industry, academic, and community-based organizations working together to improve physical, mental, community, and public health.

The Translational Health Research Center includes the Center of Excellence for Community Health and Economic Resilience Research (CHERR) which brings together resilience researchers from multiple disciplines and institutions.

Health+Resilience Research

The Translational Health Research Center accelerates the transfer of new knowledge and discoveries to address health and resilience needs in Texas. 

The Center of Excellence for Community Health and Economic Resilience Research (CHERR, pronounced "share") is housed within THRC and brings together resilience researchers from multiple disciplines and institutions.

35 Health Merge

In response to THRC's mission to foster health and resilience in Central Texas, 35 Health Merge is an overarching research collective merging communities with health data along the I-35 corridor in Central Texas.
