SPEAKER BIOS

Michaele Linden Johnson

Michaele Linden Johnson is the Senior Director of Clinical Trials and Business Development for the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation (MCA), which aims to develop a life science ecosystem in West Texas and Southern New Mexico. She leads the Clinical Trial Consortium, Clinical Trial Academy, and Clinical Trial Network to enhance clinical research and health literacy in the region. Previously, she held business development roles at various life science companies. 

Johnson serves on ACRP's PACRW Taskforce and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She holds an MBA and an undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Colorado and an MSW from the University of Chicago.

Harry Benson

Harry Benson leads a team in developing programs to standardize and improve workforce performance across industry sites. A former nuclear-trained submarine officer, he is an expert in organizational culture, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. With over 30 years of experience, his work has driven significant improvements for various companies. 

Harry holds a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master's in international business from Wright State University.


Denise Snyder

After working in public health and clinical nutrition, Denise Snyder joined Duke University School of Medicine in 2000 as a clinical research coordinator for NIH-funded cancer trials. For 12 years, she has been the Associate Dean for Clinical Research, leading the Duke Office of Clinical Research (DOCR). 

Denise has over 60 peer-reviewed publications and has delivered more than 110 presentations, including keynote addresses to local, national, and international audiences.
