Faculty Fellows Project:

Ms. Kim Fox leads Texas Community Health News (TCHN) in collaboration with Dr. Carter. Many smaller counties don’t have the budget to produce their own stories, reports, and data, and in response TCHN addresses this scarcity by leveraging the expertise of independent journalists and data visualization in order to foster health and resilience. The project aims to increase the capacities of news organizations across Texas and create awareness of public health issues through the publication of free-to-republish reports and data representations. Ms. Fox leads efforts to introduce TCHN to local news outlets across Texas.
